Lithographs are printed using a printing process called Lithography. This reproduces the finest quality art reproduction available. In order to get as close to the original artwork ; commercial printers will use up to 14 color process (as opposed to the normal 4 color process).

What Is An Artist Proof ?

Artist Proofs are the highest quality Lithographs that have actually been approved for color by the artist himself. An Artist Proof is as close to the original as you can get.

Above is the Artist Proof of "Countess". Only 40 of them were ever made. The rarest of all production pieces. They have already gone up in value, some as much as 200% since first received. Printed on the highest quality silk paper available, to own one is truly a special prize. Of course, quantities are limited as each print has been in Frank's possession and overseen to meet his high standards in art reproduction.

Virtually indistinguishable from the original, each Lithograph and Artist Proof is signed and numbered by Frank Frazetta himself.
