Welcome back: Now that spring is just around the corner, the art museum is about to open on Saturday, May 6th. And Sunday May 7th.
For your convenience there are directions listed along with hotel/motel accommodations in the Museum section of this site. I have included photographs and alternate routes for when the heavy traffic begins during the summer months. You are more than welcome to call 570-424-5833 for any information pertaining to the museum or ordering questions.
Mrs. Frazetta has also displayed new paintings and drawings throughout the gallery and the Death Dealer oil paintings are now hanging together magnificently on the museum walls.
We are just 90 minutes from New York City and Philadelphia, and 40 minutes from the Lehigh Valley airport located in Bethlehem, PA. Reservations are not necessary and numerous attractions are near by if you decide to spend the day in the Pocono’s.
Mr. Frazetta occasionally shows up without notice to the delight of the fans and normally spends time to answer questions pertaining to his artwork. Mrs. Frazetta also works every weekend and will gladly help you any way she can. If you have not been to the museum, there are over 90 original oil paintings hanging on the walls with an assortment of pen and inks and pencil drawings.
There is also a gallery store to purchase posters, books, statues and the Masters collection. The museum is located on the 75 acre estate with a beautiful lake setting just outside the museum. A beautiful stone patio will accommodate any ones needs to sit outside and relax if you do choose to do so. We look forward to meeting everyone at that time.
The Dark Kingdom statue is now being cast but there were numerous delays with production due to quality standards not being met. I apologize for the delay but this is a common occurrence when dealing with something as elaborate as this piece. Everyone who has prepaid will not be disappointed with the final product. Even Mr. Frazetta felt nothing has ever been reproduced with such fine detail and accuracy before. Steven Lord was the sculpture and took months of tedious hours to replicate this to Mr. Frazettas quality standards. There were few corrections made while in development by Steve. Mr. Frazetta stated he has a bright future in the art world and with his understanding in anatomy can become the best in the business in a short period of time. Just a few minor corrections were needed to complete this fabulous statue. We hope to have the statue landed in the United States by end of summer. Each of the first 250 will be signed and numbered by Frank Frazetta.
Mr. Frazetta has just celebrated his 78th birthday and will be returning from Florida sometime in April. His overall health is good and his spirits are as bright as ever. He just completed his first left-handed oil painting, and from my perspective is a scene of a younger Cat Girl with panthers. As soon as I am granted permission to display it on the web site it will be posted .
Thank you for visiting with us and hope to see you this summer., Frank Frazetta JR
