Hello friends,

Thank you for visiting with us this beautiful fall season. The colors are magnificent in the Poconos this time of year, so if you have the chance, now is the time to visit the art museum and spend a day in a colorful wonderland. It will be peak foliage in the northeast for another week, so bring the cameras and enjoy a drive through the mountains. You can also enjoy a walk down the Appalachian Trail along the Delaware River and view some of the most spectacular colors nature has to offer. Just wear a windbreaker or heavy sweater if you decide to walk through the trails at the higher elevations.

As we enter the fall season, Frank has now signed all the Museum booklets and sent them on their way to the few lucky patrons that attended the grand opening. I thank all of the fans for your continued support and patience with me in this matter.
I will be changing all the original art in the gallery store shortly to give you a new look at some different art from the estate. There will be a few Johnny Comet strips available along with pencil, pen and ink, and watercolors totaling around 40 new pieces. The Ghoul Queen statue should be ready for Christmas and Mrs. Frazetta is developing a 100 page pencil book with never published Frazetta nudes drawn in the late fifties. There will be a limited supply of hard cover available and the normal run of soft cover at the same time. Below are a few photos from the book we are working on. I will keep you informed as it materializes.

Mr. Frazettas health is stable and he is ever so close to finishing the masterful Reign of Wizardry oil painting. This is possibly the most powerful painting he has ever done. It has been reworked numerous times since it was first published back in the 60’s; however, it will now reach perfection.

The World Series is Frank’s favorite past time during the fall, even surpassing his number one hobby, cameras! But there is a camera on his lap while he enjoys the game. He needs something to do during the television commercials. My dad and I are astonished with Barry Bond’s performance and we have compared him to other top baseball players in their prime but no one comes close. I guess Ruth might have been but I wasn’t around to witness it. It’s like eating candy for the first time every time he comes to the plate. If the ball is thrown in his zone, its outta here!!!!! Remarkably predictable. We are suspect that steroids may have a part in this dramatic turnaround with his career along with 70% of the other ball players, but regardless of that, you still have to hit the ball. We started contemplating what Mickey Mantle would have done on steroids with this lively ball. My god, he would have hit the ball through the fence in right field, not to mention killing a few infielders. Till this day my father says no one has ever run to first base faster than the Mick nor has anyone hit the ball further. He still remembers when Mantle hit the upper deck in right center field in Yankee stadium while the ball was still climbing. After the game, members from the other team came over to the Yankee dugout to shake his hand. They estimated this ball at 580 ft. That’s a hell of a shot for most golfers with a driver.

It is also prime time for my brother Bill. He owns a costume business which is located in downtown East Stroudsburg just a floor below the former Frazetta museum. He has the largest and most remarkable collection of costumes and masks in a 100 mile radius. His store also offers rentals and a Horror Museum with moving props that leap out when you least expect it. It is a fascinating and frightening experience if you are in the area visiting. I do not recommend the Horror rooms for young children under 10, but they will love the costumes and props centrally located in his store. For more info call 570-421-9054 and ask for Bill.

I also want to give credit to the company that made the Death Dealer stein for us. www.sourceitasia.com

Just one final note, the museum will be open through the last Saturday in December from 11am – 4pm. It will then be closed till sometime in March.
Once again, thank you for visiting with us.

Yours truly, Frank Frazetta Jr
