| Ellie
with the kids |
As Halloween has passed , Ellie doesn't let the Holiday go bye without throwing her annual spooky party for the grandchildren. She will dress up as Hilda the clown to entertain the children while they enjoy an array of gags and pranks she set up the night before. She spent over 4 hours Saturday evening setting up the props and decorating the house while grandpa loaded his camera with film to snap away during the festivities. As the kitchen door opens, Ellie greets all the kids dressed in their
Halloween costumes. She welcomes the kids with goodie bags and a large jug of slime filled with gummy worms and eyeballs to put their hands in. As the
granddaughter screams the others scurry to the kitchen where grandpa waits patiently with his camera in hand. The activities went on for the entire afternoon, from dunking for apples to wrapping the kids like
mummies with tissue paper. It was an
exhausting day for Ellie, but one that goes rewarded with hugs and kisses from all the children.

Frank
with Granddaughter Nicolle. |
Frank is doing well and like most of us, is totally stunned by the Yankees performance in games 4 and 5 of the World Series. I have come to the conclusion it is not experience or mystique that has the Yankees pull these games out in their final at bat, it is a spirit or ghost from another dimension. Thank God we enjoy watching the Yankees, because if we were Arizona fans the television would have been thrown out the window in each of these games. Frank is a Yankee fan but would like to see Arizona pull this series out in seven games. "My goodness, how about giving another team a chance to become world champs once in a while"! Back in 1986, as amazing as it was when the Mets pulled out a miracle in their last
bat against the Red Sox, both dad and I feel these Yankee back to back victories surpass that incredible finish. We will be watching game 6 together on Saturday for possibly another amazing finish.

Below is a photo of a preliminary rough of wolves that never materialized. As Franks fantasy illustrating days were coming to a close in the late 80's, he intended to pursue wildlife painting later in life, but due to health problems, regretfully it never materialized. We all know he is very capable of doing wildlife art, but as he has stated numerous times before, " I'm to lazy, I'd rather play with the kids".

Thank you for visiting with us.
