Frank
with Christmas present |
The Christmas holiday was a merry one for Frank and his family, even though his daughters spent the holiday relaxing in the sun at his Florida home in Boca Grande. But there were still plenty of hugs and kisses to go around with all his grandchildren over for the holidays. Frank received a slew of sweaters, candy, an even an exercise bike to get him back in shape for the upcoming season. I gave him a quick run down on the proper way to use the stationary bike. Now Pop, just 10 or 15 minutes a day to get yourself back in shape.. Secondly, a steady pace is the best way for you to get your body adjusted to the workout. Well, like the competitor he once was, within 5 minutes he was in a full sprint. Wo Pop! This isn't the
Olympic try-outs , we just want you to get in better
physical health, not be a gold medallist. It is critical we monitor his progression personally or he gets carried away with it.

Besides the gifts mentioned, what kind of Christmas would it be if he didn't get at least one present
photographically related. I purchased him a 28-210 auto focus
lens for his Canon EOS. Even though he already possess one of everything ever made pertaining to cameras, this is an extremely compact and lightweight zoom
lens made by Vivitar, the series 1. It resembles a space ship in comparison to the others on his shelves, and this will keep him occupied for a few weeks during the
wintry months. Frank also did a quick pencil drawing for his wife Ellie for the Christmas season. I don't know why I say a quick , everything he does is finished within a few hours, this is his trademark. It
doesn't seem fair, I did a small painting for my Mom and it took me a few weeks!! Oh well, Mom loved both of them. Dads hangs in the bedroom and mine hangs on the kitchen wall.
His health has been ok recently and with the cold winter days in the Poconos he has spent most of his time in the studio fiddling with cameras and finalizing the Reign of Wizardry. It is nearly completed, and just a few finishing touches on the two woman in the
foreground and it will be done.

The museum is now closed for the
season, and will reopen sometime in the spring. We had a wonderful turnout this year and Mrs. Frazetta thanks all the fans for visiting the gallery. Visitors from as far as Australia and Russia have come to see Franks art, and some have had the pleasure of meeting up with Frank personally over the summer months. Many fans are still asking about the Grand opening date and I can now tell you it will be the second or third week in June. We will keep you posted on the exact date in next months news. Tickets will be limited for this event and will come available by the end of February.
This Grand event will take place on site of the Frazetta estate. Included in this
affair will be the ribbon cutting, food and open bar from 2-7pm, photo shoot with Frank, open house to the museum, rare original art and items for sale in the gallery store and for your patronage a
memento, a matted and framed picture of Frank/Museum/Death Dealer on the front with the signatures of all the patrons whom attended this once in a lifetime event on the back. We will be offering approx 100 tickets to the general public and all members have the option of purchasing tickets if they choose to do so. So if you have yet to visit the museum, and have never meet Frank personally, he will be on hand for most of the day.
The membership section has been restructured and we now offer 3 different plans for your viewing pleasure. Visit our members section to see what you have been missing

Even with all the snow in the Poconos this season, the grandchildren have taken full advantage of the winter weather. On New years eve day, we spent the afternoon on the hill behind the house snow boarding and tubing. We couldn't persuade Grampa to come with us, but he did take some great photos of the kids flying through the air on their snow boards. So after a few hours on the hill we all decided it was time to start the new years eve festivities. We all went inside, and for starters sat by the fire and enjoyed some shrimp cocktail and lobster bisque soup. The party has begun!!! Although none of us are drinkers, I don't recall any new years resolutions quoted by anyone. It was a wonderful evening to share with all the family members and not have to worry about anyone driving home late that night. I hope everyone had as wonderful an evening as we did.

There is a new music dvd on the market produced by Yngwie F. Malmsteen. They have licensed the Death Dealer for the cover art and how appropriate is the title, Rising Force, The war to end all wars. I'm not familiar with the artist, but I have been told he is the best guitarist out there today. Manufactured by Spitfire records and available at all record stores.
Thank you for visiting with us,
Frank Frazetta Jr.
