Hello friends,

Estate on
Christmas Day |
Welcome back and seasons greetings to everyone. Christmas was a festive one at the Frazetta home with everyone gathered at Grandma’s house for dinner and the exchanging of gifts. There was enough torn up wrapping paper from all the children’s presents to fill 8 giant hefty trash bags. Grandma and Grandpa must have shopped for weeks with the assortment of gifts that were bought for all the grandchildren. From dolls to video games, laser guns for the boys and dress up sets for the girls.

Twin Girls
dress up for Grandma |
Grandpa received candy, photo paper and the new Nikon 5700 to add to his array of cameras. This is his 3rd digital camera and he is excited to print his own photos without going in to the darkroom for hours. Now that he is involved with the digital cameras, he mentioned about selling a large assortment of his 35mm cameras. He has about 335 cameras and lenses now which he will not even give the time of day to any more, and why should he! They are just collecting dust in his studio in his camera cabinets. We enjoy the digital format so much there is no doubt 35mm should become obsolete within 5-10 years.

Christmas
Present by Frank Jr. |
Both Dad and I have painted my Mom a Christmas picture, which has now become a tradition every holiday season. This is all she ever asks from me every year, just draw me another picture for my Christmas present. It is a lot less expenses than searching the malls for a gift, but much more time consuming for me. It normally takes me about 2 weeks to finish, just a few hours a day in my spare time. I always enjoy her reaction when she opens it up and gets her first look at it. Then about 30 seconds later my Dad smacks me in the back of my head and says, “ You should have been an artist, do you know how good you could have been if you kept it up since the early 80’s?” Well, it is something you have to love to do, and I just did not feel comfortable always knowing I would be compared to my father. “There’s only one Frazetta!”

Shock Tales Portfolio |
We now have a new portfolio called the African Warrior available. We are also working on another from the EC strips from the Shock series. There will be 4 different ones available shortly, each with 8 different black and white plates from the unfinished strip. I should have these ready by the first of February.
The documentary film and jewelry line with rings and pendants will also become available by early spring. The film will be available in both DVD and VHS. This is a must for all Frazetta fans.
The entire Frazetta family wishes you healthy and happy New Year.
