Hello Fans,
The day has finally arrived, the Museum has been completed. Almost two years after the initial ground breaking this beautiful structure awaits Franks famous art with open arms. I have been working on the final landscaping over the past few weeks and Ellie has been working overtime framing many of the fabulous water colors and smaller pen and inks. The final cost of the museum exceeded the proposal by $100,000 with many upgrades along the way. But as you can see in these photos there was no compromising, everything was done first class. I hope everyone will get a chance to visit the museum in the near future, it will be a privilege to meet everyone of you personally. Ellie is looking for anyone who would like to donate a frame for one of the many famous oils to be hung in the gallery. This would help pay for some of the costly frames and a brass plate would be attached to the original art with your name.
Two or three of Dads famous Death Dealer paintings need to be trimmed approximately three inches from the top and I have been elected to do the cutting. I told him I was pretty good with a chain saw but he felt a razor knife would be sufficient. One day I will have him sign the cut off pieces and glue one of the brushes he used to paint them with to the art then auction it off to the members.
Thanks,
- Frank Frazetta Jr.
